About the desk
CoursePlot is a small independent desk that tracks what online course platforms charge — and what they change — so that a pricing decision can be made from current numbers rather than remembered ones.
What we do
We read pricing pages so you do not have to read nine of them in an afternoon.
Specifically: we record every plan price on both billing cycles, every transaction fee, every product and seat limit, and every change to those numbers. When a platform raises a price, retires a tier or quietly alters what a free plan includes, that change gets written into the relevant page with the old figure kept visible next to the new one.
What we do not do
We do not publish screenshots of dashboards we have not used, invented load times, or student testimonials. We do not run "case studies" with revenue figures that cannot be checked.
Where a judgement depends on something we cannot verify — how good a platform's support actually is on a Tuesday afternoon, how well its video player performs on a bad connection in a rural area — we say so plainly instead of awarding it a number. The marking scheme on how we grade lists those exclusions explicitly.
How the site pays for itself
A number of the outbound links here earn us a commission. If you start a paid plan after following one, the platform pays us; you pay the same either way.
That arrangement is disclosed everywhere it applies and it does not determine placement. Two of the options we recommend most often — running courses on your own WordPress site with Sensei Pro, and starting on a platform's cheapest tier rather than the one it pushes — pay us little or nothing. The affiliate disclosure page has the full terms.
Corrections
Prices move. If you find a figure on this site that is out of date or wrong, tell us and we will fix it and date the fix. Pricing corrections are the fastest email we answer — use the contact page.
